In addition to my in-house corporate editing experience, I have a graduate certificate in editing from the University of Washington, which included deep dives into AP and Chicago styles. My academic background in creative writing focused on writing workshops and giving effective, actionable critiques, a skill I've continued to refine ever since.

I'm passionate about the written word and about telling effective stories, and all my services are performed by me, not by AI.

I charge by the hour with the exception of a flat rate edit package for either book proposals or a fiction manuscript submission package of query letter, 1-page synopsis and pitch. Average rates are below; please contact me with any questions or to get a quote for your project, as rates will change based on scope and type of project.
